Artist's Statement
From my earliest memory of shadows dancing across a bedroom wall, I’ve been captivated by light—how it moves, transforms, and reveals hidden meaning. Photography became the natural language for this fascination, a way to translate the fleeting into something enduring. My work is rooted in curiosity and presence. Whether I am photographing in the streets of New York, remote corners of Tibet, or inside the intimacy of a portrait session, I am always seeking the space between reality and memory—the place where light meets emotion. I see photography as both witness and poetry. Each frame is less about documentation than about distilling a feeling, a story, a fleeting spark of connection. What began as wonder has become a lifelong practice of honoring the mystery and beauty of the world through the lens.
