A playful water tower in Kansas City — this fine art photograph of a checkered water tower is one of the most joyful and unexpected images in the series, transforming a piece of municipal infrastructure into something that looks more like a piece of Pop Art. This water tower is painted, and this checkered tower is in a category of its own: bold, graphic, impossible to ignore, a burst of pattern against the open sky.
This photograph captures that quality with delight — the crisp geometry of the checks, the way the pattern wraps around the curved surface of the tower, the sheer unexpectedness of finding something this graphic. A conversation piece for any interior.
Available in sizes from 12×15" to 43×53.7", printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper — the archival standard for fine art photography.
